The plot thickens! Day 2

Today was full of surprises!

This morning, more unusual clues were discovered throughout school. The children found that strange potion bottles had been left near Year 1. Using careful observation skills, they uncovered a variety of beautifully crafted, golden keys. Finally two scrolls were located near Year 2, they revealed a map and an invisible secret message!

Using all these clues, Reception set to work on creating imaginative stories and characters. They each recorded their story using a story map and retold them focusing on ordering the events.  Linking to ideas on who had left the footprints, characters were described and drawn in detail. Reception have really been demonstrating so much inventiveness, creativity and literacy skills! WOW!!

Where will the clues lead us tomorrow?
